Mansion House, Kawau Island, Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand. Developed 1862 - 1867, by Sir George Grey, Governor of New Zealand. Became part of Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park in 1967. Comprehensive restoration began in 1977. Photographed during an unusually high tide.
